Following SOCAR’s announcement that it will end its car-sharing operations in Malaysia on 31 August 2026, we understand that many users will still need access to a car—for daily errands, work appointments, airport transfers, family outings or weekend trips.
That is why GoCar is welcoming SOCAR users with existing SoCar credits. Eligible users will be entitled to RM200 in GoCar mobility offers, valid for qualifying GoCar Share bookings.

How the GoCar offer works
Eligible SOCAR users can receive up to RM200 in GoCar promotional value. Up to RM20 can be used for each qualifying GoCar booking, allowing you to enjoy the offer across multiple journeys.
To be considered for the offer:
Register for GoCar between 19 August and 30 September 2026.
Email a screenshot of your existing SOCAR wallet to marketing@gocar.my for verification.
Once verified, a promo code will be emailed to you – to utilise for qualifying bookings made up till 31 December 2026.

- Email existing SoCar wallet credits to marketing@gocar.my
- Total discount worth up to RM200, with RM20 max use per booking
- Minimum booking period of 1 day and above
- Valid for all cars
- The promo code will be emailed to all users who share the image of their SoCar wallet. Promo code MUST be applied upon making a reservation. No refunds will be entertained for bookings that do not apply promo codes during checkout.
- This discount is not applicable to CDW, Premium Flex package and 8% SST.
- Unless otherwise stated, this promotion is not valid with other promotions or offers.
- Reservations made under this promotion cannot be rescheduled and are strictly non-refundable and/or non-transferable, unless the Flex Premium package was explicitly opted for at the time of booking.
